Plans and pricing for AF Studio automation. Tiered by number of restaurants, with hosting,
users, training, and edit requests included — plus transparent rates for custom work and after-hours training.
How pricing works
One-time setup, a predictable monthly fee, and everything you need to run day to day
included. Plans scale by the number of restaurants you manage.
One-time setup fee covers onboarding, configuration, and initial implementation.
Monthly fee includes software hosting, the core automation functions, your included
users, and support.
Pricing is graduated by restaurant count — a flat Tier 1 rate for 1–20 restaurants, then
each additional restaurant adds a fixed amount inside its band (21–50 and 51–200), the way marginal
tax brackets work. You pay for the size you actually run, up to a $2,400 ceiling reached at 200 restaurants.
Training and PDF run scripts for each process are included with every plan.
Updates to existing models & workflows — all updates to existing
application models (Sculpture, Toast, etc.) and all existing automated workflows are handled from the
AF Framework.
Custom work (new workflows, scheduling, data mining, other systems) is quoted by a
formal proposal before any work begins.

Priced by your list — not by the number of workflows
Every plan includes four workflows with your subscription, run for all your
restaurants. Using fewer than four doesn’t lower the price; needing more than four adds a small flat

Using fewer than four doesn’t lower the price
A common question: “If I only use one of my four workflows, why not pay less?”
The four are bundled, and the cost of running your account is the same whether you use one of them or all
four — so using fewer doesn’t make it cheaper.
The idea
How it actually works
“I’ll use just one of my four workflows, so charge me less.”
Your base price is built from the size of your Sculpture list, not from how many
of your four workflows you switch on. Using fewer doesn’t make your account cheaper to run.
“Fewer workflows should mean a smaller bill.”
What you pay for is your restaurant list, your secure logins, the connection to Sculpture, the
system that runs and checks the work, and support — all there whether you use one of your
four workflows or all four.
“So I can never pay per workflow?”
You can — but only upward: a fifth workflow or more adds a flat
amount to your subscription (below). There’s no discount for using fewer than four.

Each additional workflow adds a flat amount to your subscription — $17.50 at
Tier 1, $15 at Tier 2, $12 at Tier 3 — and it covers
every restaurant on your account.

A worked example
Tier 1 is $350/month for four workflows across up to 20 restaurants. Add a 5th and it
becomes $367.50; a 6th, $385. More capability for a small, flat step —
not more for free, but nowhere near the cost of a hire.

How to read these
The big number on each card is the most you can pay in that tier. You reach it only near the top
of the band — below that you pay the base plus the per-restaurant rate for the restaurants you actually run, so
crossing into a higher tier never lowers your bill. The $50 software-hosting fee is included in every plan, and
the $2,400 ceiling is reached at 200 restaurants.

How the graduated scale is built
Each tier starts at the previous tier’s maximum price and adds a flat per-restaurant rate for
every restaurant above the previous band — climbing until it reaches this tier’s cap, after which the
price holds flat to the top of the band. The rates are set so the blended (all-in, per-restaurant)
price lands on $17.50 at 20 restaurants, $15.00 at 50, and $12.00 at 200.

The graduated scale. Tier 1 is flat at $350 up to 20 restaurants. Tier 2 starts at $350 and adds $15 for each restaurant over 20, reaching the $750 cap at 47 restaurants and holding flat through 50. Crossing a tier never lowers your bill
At every boundary the total steps up, never down — 20 restaurants = $350 ($17.50 each); the 21st adds
$15 → $365. 50 restaurants = $750 ($15.00 each); the 51st adds $12 → $762. The $2,400 cap is reached at
188 restaurants and holds through 200 restaurants.

Why $75 / hour
$75/hour sits at the low end of the 2026 US market for freelance software engineering,
which generally runs $75–$160/hour and up depending on seniority and specialization
— effectively senior-level automation work at an entry-level rate.

Scope & approval
Crawling a different POS or any system outside Toast or Sculpture must be approved first.
A formal proposal is generated for an agreed cost, hours, implementation, and training
materials. No new process is initiated until the proposal is agreed to.
Payment terms
A $500 one-time set-up fee (a SaaS fixed cost) applies. Custom implementation work is
invoiced 50% as a deposit at the start of work, with the remaining 50% due upon
completion.

Why the run scripts matter
Each process ships with a step-by-step PDF, so training carries over to new staff and there's no
single-person dependency — a written playbook for every workflow you run.
The value case: software vs. staffing
Compare your subscription — four workflows, all your restaurants —
to paying a part-time employee $15/hour to pull, clean, and import that same work for every
restaurant, by hand. Even using just one of your four workflows, your price is unchanged — and still
far below a hire.

for $5,200. Your subscription is $1,590, a saving of about
$43,000 a year. Even a Tier 1 plan using just one of its four workflows is still $350,
and a fifth workflow adds only $17.50.
